Books you must read for self-help while travelling

These books are very powerful and will change your perspective. These are best self-help books which I have listed down. 
Few books that have changed my life are…

  1. Think and grow rich, by Napoleon Hill:
     Think and Grow Rich

    This is an amazing book where the author has described 13 steps on becoming rich. He gave examples to express his views. He has explained various steps which will build your character and gives your new way of thinking for money.
  2. The Secret, by Rhonda Byrne:

     The Secret

    This book has personally changed my perspective towards life. It opens up a new dimension to see the world. The basic idea of this book is that achieve anything is easy. Whatever you put into your brain becomes your reality. You attract what you are feeding into your mind. Your subconscious mind has much more tendency than you think.
  3. Rich Dad Poor Dad, by Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter:

     Rich Dad Poor Dad

    This is the best book I have ever come across. Here the author describes how he has two dads. One dad tells him how hard is to earn money and the second dad tells him how easily he can make money. The book shows the contrast in thinking of a poor person and a rich person. Definitely you must read this one.
  4. Becoming Supernatural, by Dr. Joe Dispenza:

     Becoming Supernatural

    This is the book I am currently reading. I have read more than have of the book. In this book, the author has described that meditation can help you do miracles. He has described how meditation has cured many diseases such as cancer, Alzheimer, injuries and many more. By far it is the most difficult book I have ever read. This book has medical so many medical terms which are difficult to understand for a non-medical person.
  5. Start with Why, by Simon Sinek:

     Start with Why
    Start with Why

    This was the first self-help book I have come across. It describes how you can take your business to a whole new level. Here the author talks about the culture of business industries. How you can manage your employees and get maximum benefits from them. As clear from its name this book describes that you must know your ‘why’, why you are doing what you are doing.
  6. Shoe Dog, by Phil Knight:

    Shoe Dog

    This book is written by Phil Knight who is the co-founder and former CEO of Nike. It describes, despite being bad in business how he has made Nike as a brand.
  7. The Intelligent Investor, by Benjamin Graham:

     The Intelligent Investor

    This is an amazing book, as clear from its name it teaches you how you can do stock marketing. Everyone knows Warren Buffet, he is the greatest investor of this time. The book was written by Warren Buffet’s teacher Benjamin Graham. This book gives you deep knowledge about the stock market.
  8. Ikigai, by Albert Liebermann and Hector Garcia:

kigai is a Japanese book which roughly translates ‘reason for being’. This book is short and simple to read. The author has described how you can find your purpose and be happy in life. It describes 4 different concepts in order to achieve ikigai.

9. How to Stop Worrying and Start Living

This book (along with other books by Dale Carnegie) can be life-changing. The book takes the incessant problem of worry, head-on. It says that 
of all the liars in the world most of the time it's our own fears and worries. Worry doesn't take away your troubles but it do take away your peace, that's the main message of the book. He starts very scientifically by searching the causes behind the worry, by taking many case studies. The advice given in the book are really helpful. It is a classic book that must be read if you are in depression and want to come out of it.
